I aim to provide a bespoke service tailored to the specific needs, timescale and budget of clients, whether academic, third-sector, NHS or policymaker. My input can be long- or short-term, hands-on or advisory.
I can assist with or undertake the development of a qualitative research design for your study. Alternatively, I could review and provide feedback on your research proposal (e.g. ethics application, grant application).
I can advise on or undertake recruitment and data collection (including face-to-face, telephone and video interviewing, and focus groups). I have extensive experience in recruiting vulnerable and marginalised groups.
I can undertake or contribute to data analysis, whether performing initial coding or focusing on data pertaining to a particular theme or question. I can also write-up your findings in your preferred format.
I teach qualitative research methods from basic to advanced levels, suitable for lay people/service users, professionals, clinicians, academics, and students (doctoral, postgraduate, undergraduate).
I have been fortunate to have worked with: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust; University of Liverpool; University College London; McPin Foundation, London; Anna Freud Centre, London; University of Southampton / Wessex Academic Health Science Network; Bangor University, Wales; and, Lundbeck, Denmark.
